About The Island
On the far North East border of Faadhippolhu Atoll (LhaviyaniAtoll), sits the exquisite little island of Fushifaru Maldives, only a 35 minute breathtaking seaplane flight away from Velana International Airport.
Nestled between a national Marine Protected Area and three of the Maldives’ most iconic dive sites, Fushifaru Maldives is boutique Maldivian chic with an endless promise of adventure, excitement, discovery and serenity all in one diverse landscape.
How To Get There
Access to Fushifaru Maldives has significantly improved. The resort’s guests now have two options: a 35-minute seaplane transfer; and a 25-minute domestic flight (Madivaru Airport) and a 15-minute speedboat ride to Fushifaru Maldives.
Both the seaplane and domestic transfer to Fushifaru Maldives is an exciting journey to fly over the beautiful archipelago of Maldives and witnesses the mesmerising views of atoll and island formations! Our Airport Team will be delighted to assist with
the transfers at Velana International Airport and the seaplane/domestic terminal.
Both the seaplane and domestic flight companies are third party to the Resort and operate independently according to the flying hours’ restrictions imposed by the local Maldives Civil Aviation Authority (MCAA), subject to weather conditions.
Airport lounges are available for Fushifaru guests at the seaplane/domestic terminal at Velana International Airport as well as at the Madivaru Airport for domestic flights.

Terms & Conditions
The rates are per person and are inclusive of 10% service charge and 12% TGST.
▪ Transfers are arranged by the Resort on behalf of the Operator hence the Resort will require full guest’s arrival and departure information upon reservation.
▪ Transfer reservation confirmation for next day transfers is only made available to the Resort by 19:30 at earliest.
▪ Infant will not be provided with a seat, however, if a seat is required, the rate for child (2-11.99 yrs.) will be applicable.
▪ No-show and cancellation on the day of travel will be charged at 100% of the rates quoted.
▪ All transfers are subject to weather conditions and the Operator’s terms & conditions.
▪ Departure timings are set by the Operator and can be subject to delays.
▪ In case the transfer is being shared with guests of other resorts, non-direct flights with multiple stops may occur.
▪ Transfers are subject to airline policies and regulations; the Resort assume no liability for any discrepancies or costs
incurred arising from or in connection with a failure by the Operator to make adequate enquiries or for any variation imposed on such requirements.
▪ Transfers are operated by a third party; hence the Resort is not liable for any delay or operational matters of the transportation. The Resort’s role is to arrange the transportation booking on behalf of the Operator.
▪ In the event of a change in pricing by the seaplane/domestic flight company, the Resort reserves the right to adjust the
rates accordingly.
▪ Fushifaru Maldives will strive to assist in arranging alternative overnight accommodation in Male’, including re-scheduling and re-confirming transfer times for the following day (subject to availability).
